What a shame, Abraxxas was just so careless with his feet. Looks like Ingrid Klimke won’t be riding home with the individual gold, but there’s certainly no shame at all in a team gold.
Give me Wega! Beautiful and powerful. Algotsson Ostholt rode her beautifully - so excited to see them compete for the individual medal.

Man, so many Brazilian pairs have been having really bad rounds. They look really snappy in those green jackets, though. If I ruled the world, every rider on a chestnut or really red bay would wear a green jacket.
Great round by Mary King and Imperial Cavalier! He was jumping kind of flat and close to the fences but they were super balanced and probably in little actual danger of knocking rails.
Woohoo, great ride for Karen O’Connor! Mr. Medicott is strong and springy and handsome. According to the announcers, the pair ended up with time faults in the XC because she had trouble keeping him back, but their pace was quite nice today.
I really liked Joseph Murphy and Electric Cruise’s round. Electric Cruise is a cutie patootie, really adjustable, and was pretty much nowhere near the rails. Really strong ride, smooth and pleasant to watch.
That was a FANTASTIC ride for the young German rider Sandra Auffarth! I think it was the best so far. So nice to see some younger blood on a German team, and she rides a Selle Francais to boot! I’m definitely a member of the Cult of Holsteiner but I love me some Thoroughbreds and French horses.
Great ride for Lucinda Fredericks and Flying Finish! Too bad about the one time penalty.
