Beezie Madden and her mares kicked some serious butt at this year’s Spruce Meadows ‘National’ Tournament.
Beezie and Amadora (2003 Dutch Warmblood, Chin Chin x Indoctro, owned by Abigail Wexner) won the $35,000 RBC Capital Markets Cup 1.50M. That same day, Beezie and Wrigley (2003 Dutch Warmblood, Padinus x Burggaaf, owned by John Madden Sales, Inc) surpassed a field of 61 other pairs to win the $35,000 ATCO Energy Solutions Cup 1.45M.
I feel I should mention that this success comes right after Madden moved up to number four in the FEI rankings, making her the number one female rider in the world and the number one overall rider in the US. Ugh, she’s just the greatest.

From now on, I’m going to passive-aggressively set click-through links for every single equestrian picture I reblog. There’s no excuse for not sourcing properly when Google Images exists. Doesn’t seem like the Tumblr equestrian community is going to learn that anytime soon.
This is probably the straw that broke the camel’s back because the picture is of the pretty badass Kate of Grey Brook Eventing and her wonderful ISH Ringmoylan. I’ve been following her blog intermittently since 2010 and it bugs the shit out of me to see her pictures posted to Tumblr without linking back.
